WhistleB contributes to the Nordic Summit on Anti-Corruption 2016

WhistleB participated in the 3rd Summit on Anti-Corruption (Nordics Edition) that was held in Oslo in early November. At the conference, WhistleB spoke about the next generation of whistleblowing in the Nordics and shared its experiences working with whistleblowing issues in the Nordics and in other regions such as Africa and Latin America. WhistleB also launched its white paper on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that has implications on whistleblowing systems.

The conference brought together compliance professionals from leading Nordic companies such as: Cargotec, Telenor, Statoil, Maersk Line, SAAB, Telia, Orkla, Kemira etc; regulators; and experts within the compliance field. Key topics on the agenda included; the changing face of risks and how to ensure that your Anti-Corruption compliance programs can capture new and “unknown” risks; Controlling and monitoring third party pisks; How to protect against beneficial ownership risk; Practical considerations for managing effective internal investigations into corruption allegations etc.
