FläktGroup uses the WhistleB whistleblowing system in 18 languages

At the end of 2020 FläktGroup, the European market leader for energy-efficient indoor air technology solutions, selected the WhistleB whistleblowing system as part of its efforts to maintain a transparent business climate and high business ethics. 

FläktGroup provides its customers with improved air comfort and well-being through solutions and service in air treatment, air movement, air filtration, air distribution, air management, air diffusion, air conditioning and heating. The group is headquartered in Germany, operates in 65 countries worldwide and employs 3,500 people.

In this short interview, Carolin Fischer FläktGroup’s Export Control Officer/ Compliance Officer explains why and how the company uses the WhistleB whistleblowing system.

Why is WhistleB a particularly good fit for your company needs? 

Fair and ethically correct behaviour are of central importance to FläktGroup. With the introduction of a whistleblowing tool, we wanted to offer our employees an additional and anonymous option to report illegal or unethical behaviour. The WhistleB whistleblowing system offered the optimal service for this purpose.

How do you use the WhistleB whistleblowing system in your company?  

We use the whistleblowing system company-wide. The whistleblowing landing page can be reached on our FläktGroup homepage, and it is available in 18 languages for our employees as well as external persons.

What is the best thing about the system? 

The communication between the whistleblower and our whistleblowing team does not have to overcome any language barriers due to the integrated translation function in the tool from or into a large number of languages. Anybody who wants to report something can express their concern in their native language. And our whistleblowing team also respond in the reporting person’s native language. Communication problems can thus be reduced to a minimum, which is a great advantage in our global company, where messages can come from many parts of the world.

What is your experience of the support provided?

From the conclusion of the contract to the final implementation of the whistleblowing tool at FläktGroup, WhistleB’s customer service has always been outstanding. WhistleB also quickly and effectively implemented any subsequent adjustment requests we had. We feel we are well advised and looked after across the board.
